We started in Paris and ended in Paris on a 13 day whirlwind journey through France !

September 22, 2023

Flew from Edmonton to Calgary. From Calgary we went to
Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris. Tried to sleep on the plane
but not too much luck.

September 23, 2023

Arrived at CDG Airport around noon after the 8hr flight. The coupe of hours we were supposed to have before we caught the coach transfer with Trafalgar turned into mere minutes before the coach left. What a confusing and long winding airport. We arrived at the hotel around 3pm. We met our group in the hotel lobby at 4pm, we did orientation and then hoped in the coach to drive to supper. We drove around Paris we seen the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and other city sights. We ate at a restaurant called “Bureau” in the 15th Arr. We had a Kir as an aperitif, beef bourguignon, and a dessert trio that had chocolate mousse, lime pie in a jar, and a custard pastry. We ended up with another sleepless night. But if you are going to be tired you may as well be tired in France.
